Hello
I call myself an Inksmith—a title I use to capture the breadth of my creative practice, which spans illustration, mapmaking, hand lettering, printmaking, and artists' books.
Drawing forms the foundation and colour enhances both my own narratives and my clients' visions.
Storytelling is at the heart of my creative practice.
This narrative approach extends to the workshops I teach across the UK. Whether exploring imagined worlds or mapping real-life journeys, participants create books and maps that chart their own unique paths. We navigate challenges together, discovering creative solutions at every turn.
In 2021, I self-published The Diary of an Artist in Lockdown to international acclaim. All 500 limited edition copies sold out before the official publication date.
I'm based in north London with Mr. Inkpot, where my daily commute takes me past the family of flowers and weeds I unwittingly tend with equal devotion, leading to The Inkpad—my garden studio and creative haven.
